The instrument uses reverse hybridization for virus subtype analysis. Specimens are added; the instrument auto-processes reagents, extracts DNA, and amplifies PCR via chip micro-pumps. Amplified products undergo reverse hybridization with virus probes. Target genes, if present, are captured by chip probes, showing spots post-enzyme reaction. Negative specimens show no spots at virus probe positions.
The Nucleic Acid Chip Analyzer includes host and optional printer. The host features image display, reagent, gas path, temperature control, image detection, and 3D mobile platform.
Sample Type: exfoliated cervical epithelial cells.
