The instrument uses reverse hybridization for virus subtype analysis. Specimens are added into the slot; the instrument auto-processes reagents, extracts DNA, and amplifies PCR via Chip micro-pumps. Amplified products undergo reverse hybridization with virus probes. If target genes are present, they are captured by Chip probes, showing spots after enzyme reaction. Negative specimens show no spots at virus probe positions.
