Frequently Asked Questions
What samples can be used for this Babesia test?
The test is compatible with dog serum, plasma, or whole blood specimens.
How long does it take to see the results?
Results are typically visible within 5 to 10 minutes. Do not interpret results after 15 minutes.
Is the Rapid Test Kit 100% accurate?
It is a screening tool based on the colloidal gold method. While highly reliable for rapid diagnostics, PCR or immunofluorescence tests are recommended for definitive confirmation.
What are the storage requirements?
The kit should be stored at 2-30°C in a dry place. It should not be frozen and should be kept away from direct sunlight.
What should I do if the Control (C) line does not appear?
If the C line does not appear, the test is considered invalid. This may be due to improper operation or a damaged test device. You should repeat the test with a new cassette.
Can I use components from different test kits?
No, components are quality-controlled as a standard batch unit. Mixing components from different lot numbers is not recommended.
