General Information
The HV-OWS-63 Oscillating Wave Test System (OWTS) for On-site PD Diagnostics of 10kV Cables is an integrated partial discharge location and management system. Test frequency varies from 50Hz to hundreds of Hertz under damping AC voltage.
It simulates the running state of the cable by applying voltage, inducing partial discharge to detect intensity and location. By using a hollow inductor in series with the tested cable and charging through a high-voltage DC source, it creates a damping oscillation circuit. This oscillating voltage excites partial discharge at insulation defects, allowing for precise quality assessment.
